To start the season, the first 29 applicants will get to chose a team based on availability. These 29 people (teams) will then engage in a regular 82-game season online using your NBA2K1 game disc and your Sega Dreamcast console. After completing the 82 game season, the best 16 players (8 from Eastern Conf. and 8 from the Western Conf.), will go on to the Playoffs. They will compete in a best of 3 first round, and a best of 5 during each succeeding round. The winner of the "Finals" will have a chance to pick from 3 great prizes to be posted at a later date.

Each player will have to choose a name that WILL INCLUDE the team name you have been approved to play with. Pick a name that is also available to log into the NBA2K1 chatroom.

Examples: Sittinbull - Chicago Bulls, JonBlazer - Portland Trailblazers, DallasTexan - Dallas Mavericks

GAME PLAY

Each game should be played in the order of the schedule. 2 days will be alotted for each game to be played. All games should be played in full. Quitters automatically forfiet the game regardless of score. If you are the home team, you choose the speed and settings. Rules always remain the same.

REPORTING LOSSES

Upon losing a regular season game, the player (team) will be required to report his or her loss within 2 Hours on the report loss page.

SITE UPDATES

Each report will be automatically emailed to the webmaster who will update the site daily at 9:00am and 9:00pm (Central Time).

PLAYOFFS

The post season will start 4 days after all 82 games have been played and reported. If you make it to the playoffs, check back periodically to see who your first round opponent will be.

WILD CARD GAMES?

If two players have identical records at the end of the 82 game season and are in the same division, these two players(teams) will have to play a sudden death wildcard game to determine who is playoff bound!!
